About Us
Last updated October 8, 2026
Sportsnar is a cricket and football site built by people who check the score before they check their messages. We wanted one place that does two things properly: tells you what is happening right now, and helps you make sense of it afterwards.
So that’s what we’ve built. Every match gets its own page with a live score that updates on its own, and every story we write links back to the match, the table or the team it’s about. You shouldn’t have to open five tabs to follow a Saturday.
What we cover
Cricket. International Tests, ODIs and T20Is, the IPL and the big domestic competitions, including the Ranji Trophy. We care about the long format as much as the short one, and we’ll happily explain why a draw on day five was worth staying up for. Start at our cricket page.
Football. The Premier League, La Liga and the Champions League, with more leagues to follow. Everything lives on our football page.
Alongside the scores you’ll find fixtures in your own time zone, results, league tables, team pages and the latest news: previews before the big games, reports after them, and plain-English explainers for the bits of sport that nobody ever quite explains.
How we work
Scores and statistics come from a licensed sports data provider and land on the page within seconds. We never estimate a score, guess a line-up or fill a gap with something that sounds about right. If we don’t have it yet, the page says so.
Our writing follows a simple rule: if it isn’t confirmed, we don’t present it as fact. Injury news, team news and transfer stories only appear once a club, a governing body or a named, reliable source has said it. You can read the full version in our editorial policy.
And when we get something wrong, we fix it in the open. Our corrections page explains how.
A note if you’ve been here before
If you knew this web address in years gone by, you’ll notice it looks nothing like it used to. Sportsnar spent a while unloved. We’ve rebuilt it from the ground up, cleared out what didn’t belong, and given it back to sport. That’s the whole idea now, and it’s the only one.
Say hello
We read everything that comes in, whether it’s a tip, a correction, an idea for a feature or a polite argument about the best opening pair of all time. The contact page has the right address for each.
Thanks for reading. See you at the next wicket, or the next goal.
